Lake Taupo - Craters of the Moon

Surreal, walking across a normal looking field with massive craters and steam belching out of the ground everywhere. The craters were enormous and the photos don't do them justice. There is a walkway all the way around the thermal field, you can also see where the path has been moved, where the ground has just vanished. Lots of warning signs about the dangers of thermal fields come to think of it.
